Elizabeth Taylor

I’ve done this drawing after a drawing from Ileana Hunter. She is a great artist and I liked her drawing of Elizabeth Taylor so much that I did it myself. When you compare it to hers you see my mistakes lol but it’s just for me and for learning purposes. This is also the first time I tried carbon pencils.

Still life from drawing course

This is from my drawing course I take in Vienna. It's a drawing based on a picture of the teacher. He has given me very helpful tips and I like how this turned out.

Drawings from the Life Drawing Course

These are the results of my 10 hours life drawing course. Each was done with a life model in 1 1/2-2 hours. The older woman in profile is off and the teacher couldn't tell me. It was an interesting course but no criticism came from the teacher - she was nice to everyone, resulting in the feeling I didn't learn anything from the course. But it was nice actually drawing life people. :)

Zooey Deschanel Pastel Portrait

I've done Zooey Deschanel in pastels. This is the first drawing that I'm proud of. It's not perfect of course, but I like how it turned out. It took me around 12 hours in total I guess.

Christina Ricci Pencil Portrait Drawing

This is supposed to be Christina Ricci. I think she is not so recognizable but I liked the portrait. When I did the scan I erased her left earlobe accidentally.. I will do a new scan someday - just wanted to post it now. I tried a new method where I used graphite powder and brush along with my pencils.

Practicing hair drawing

I practiced drawing hair a lot the last week. Here are the results. ;) I'm quite happy with the last pic. It's actually from an ad for a hair shampoo and I didn't know how to draw it at first sight but my teacher at the art seminar I'm taking gave me a pretty good advice on how to tackle hairs. All done with pencil.

Lion with Pastels

This lion is done with pastel pencils (after Colin Bradley, I learned so much from this guy).

Prismacolor Colored Pencils and first portrait

My Set of 132 Prismacolor Colored Pencils has arrived - only 12 days shipping from US - yeah!

And this is the first portrait I did with them. As you can see it needs a lot more practice! It's supposed to be Scarlett Johansson.
