I thought I just combine all the Benedict Cumberbatch drawings/paintings in one single post. I've drawn him so many times for a Sherlock Convention which I'm not attending anymore. If you're interested in prints just let me know.

Audrey Hepburn Coloured Pencil Portrait

I still have problems with layering the coloured pencils. The neck is a disaster.. This time I've used my limited range of Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. They're oil-based which I like. Anyhow, I need to get the layering right. It's the same with graphite pencils, when it comes to shading I still have problems.

I had a hard time with these wax-based Prismacolor pencils. So I bought a small set of Faber-Castell Polychromos and I hope they're nicer. I've made so many mistakes - this was a try-and-error portrait. In the end I'm not so disappointed as I thought. Although I have to learn waaaaayyy more about portraits and colors and -- *sigh* everything.
