On the weekend I was in a portrait and figure drawing class! It was awesome - the teacher was great, I learned new techniques and I did quite well with life drawing in general. The only problem I have is measuring proportions. I simply don’t do it, I mostly draw contour lines first and most of the times the proportions are right. So the teacher taught me how to measure afterwards to reassure the correct proportions. I need a lot more practice, so I hope I find people willing to sit for me so I can draw (their face).
